Dr. Konstam was born and raised in the Detroit area. She attended the University of Michigan for two years and then transferred to Michigan State University where she obtained her DVM in 1979. She also met her future husband, Dr Stuart Teger at MSU.
She became an associate at North Main Animal Hospital shortly after graduation and has worked there, more or less, ever since. She has also raised four children and now enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. She has had a various assortment of pets for most of her life and now takes care of a colony of feral cats as well.
When not at work, Dr Konstam enjoys walking her dogs, gardening and taking a variety of classes. She also enjoys helping pets and their owners and appreciates working with the warm staff at North Main Animal Hospital that shares her commitment to animal health.
